The Japan Fire Equipment Inspection Association is a public organization that ensures the performance of firefighting machinery and equipment .In order to safely protect human lives and property from fire, under the supervision of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, the association is engaged in a wide range of activities, including inspection, acceptance evaluation,performance evaluation, research and study, and international cooperation .
